Background and experience: Born and raised in Chicago, I've resided on the Monterey Peninsula for over 35 years-the past 15 in Carmel Valley. As a licensed Realtor since l986, I've listed and sold single-family homes (from cottages to castles), large tracts of land and multi-use properties - focusing on Carmel and Carmel Valley for the past 10 yrs. In addition, I was a full-time Property Manager of both furnished and unfurnished rental properties, from Seaside to Big Sur, on the Monterey Peninsula. My prior experience includes teaching, the hospitality industry (restaurants), Aide to 4th District Monterey County Supervisor and key fundraiser and public speaker for YWCA Domestic Violence Crisis Line and Women's and Children's Emergency Shelter. I am a licensed Real Estate agent in Idaho as well - specializing in the Hope Peninsula area east of Sandpoint as well as Priest Lake and Priest River. Community committment is important to me - as a volunteer and fundraiser for the SPCA/Wildlife Center and contributor and former Board Member of the Friends of the Carmel Valley Library.
